UNP- FSAT [ Foreign Students Aptitude Test ]

University of Northern Philippines [UNP] School of Medicine entrance examination popularly known as FSAT [Foreign Students Aptitude Test] is the first step towards your MBBS/MD qualification. FSAT is basically an IQ test that testify the candidates' inborn abilities to solve unforeseen situations that may arise in his medical profession. With a minimum 70% marks in Plus Two, the University assumes that the student already possess enough strength in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and so there is no test on core subjects.

FSAT is considered as a very simple multiple choice based IQ test if one's mental abilities are used wisely. In the past, many students scored very high without much preparation. It is widely perceived that IQ test is very important for medical aspirants as Doctors' mental strength and cognitive abilities play above the subject knowledge.

Cognitive abilities are brain-based skills we need to carry out any task from the simplest to the most complex. They have more to do with the mechanisms of how we learn, remember, problem-solve, and pay attention, rather than with any actual knowledge.
